With hundreds of hours of formal training, apprenticeship, and on-the-job learning, we stay current on the knowledge it takes to service your car, with manufacturer training and advisories. We are a Bosch authorized service center and a member of the Automotive Service Councils of California. We also are state registered with the California Department of Consumer Affairs in accordance with The Automotive Repair Act of 1971.  

But experience is equally important! It takes years of practice in the real-world to achieve the perfection you seek in a trustworthy caretaker for your fine vehicle.

Carlos Showing's career prior to co-founding European Auto Repair in 1997 is as follows:

	Mr. Showing initially trained at the highly-respected Senati Automotive Technical Institute in Lima, Peru
	He also trained at the Scania Mercedes Benz and Volvo dealerships in Lima, Peru.
	From 1985 - 1989 he served at the prestigious Rallye Mercedes Benz & Rolls Royce dealerships in Roslyn, NY (Long Island).
	From 1989 to 1997 he served at the noted STEAD MOTORS Mercedes Benz dealership in Walnut Creek, CA

He became the sole owner of European Auto Repair in 2008.

Chris Ocarr, Automotive Technician

Chris Ocarr brings more than 16 year's auto experience to the firm. A Mercedes Benz Factory Trained Technician since 1999, he is also qualified as a Mercedes Benz System Technician; a Mercedes Benz Specialized Technician in Transmissions; and a Mercedes Benz Star-Certified Technician in transmissions, mechanical and electrical components. He is also a ZF (ZF Friedrichshafen AG) certified technician - '96-'98. Chris is a former transmission "hands on" trainer.
